About
Zechariah Matson is the founder and lead trainer at Omega K9 Dog Training. With over seven years of hands-on experience, his journey began under the mentorship of a local trainer where he developed a passion for helping dogs and owners achieve real transformation. He initially trained service dogs for disabled veterans, later expanding into scent detection and complex behavior rehabilitation. Zechariah has attended the Training Without Conflict (TWC) certification program under world-renowned trainer Ivan Balabanov. He is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, and an active member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). After beginning in IGP sport, he now competes in PSA with his personal dogs. Zechariah’s mission is to provide training that goes beyond obedience — promoting trust, structure, and lasting change for both dogs and their families through modern, ethical methods.
