About
Lucy has worked with animals professionally and personally for many years. But, it was during her time spent working at a local shelter that she experienced first hand the large number of dogs returned and surrendered due to behavior issues. At the same time she adopted her first dog, Butter, and quickly found his reactivity and anxiety to be overwhelming. Adopting Butter kickstarted her training journey and led her on a path that she never could have imagined at the time! She spent years learning and absorbing all the information she could to best help him. She has gone from a client, to an apprentice, to head trainer for a local dog training company, to owner of my own business. Butter has since passed away, but his legacy lives on in each client she works with. Her goal is to help clients see real and lasting change, and to help dogs live happy, fulfilled lives in harmony with their owners. Lucy is so thankful that her training journey led her to TWC, and she can't wait to continue learning and growing with this community!
