About
Hi! I’m Jessi. My main focus has always been on working herding dogs, specifically Border Collies, which i have been training, and selling on my family’s farm since 2014. In 2023, I became a trainer at Tandem Dog Training, using my experience to help dog owners understand their dogs and bring harmony back into their homes. I have the most fun working with difficult or unruly dogs, and seeing big changes in the dog’s demeanor and behavior through play.I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some very talented professionals over the years and have learned so much about behavior, changing the dog’s mindset, and general canine health that has had a direct impact on the way I approach training in both of my specialties. I even started my own underwater treadmill and canine physical therapy business, Pro-Motion Canine, to help dogs become physically fulfilled and recover from injuries, as well as keeping my working dogs fit.I’m excited to add Training Without Conflict to my training experience, and can’t wait to help even more struggling dog owners with the knowledge and understanding I’ve gained. I also hope to begin bridging the gap between traditional herding training methods and more modern concepts.
