About
Liz LaPointe has been working with dogs for over a decade and focused most of her training experience in detection work. She founded Canine Search Initiative in 2015 as a nonprofit business that provides training opportunities to detection dog handlers with a focus on search and recovery.She has been a member of a number search and rescue teams and is currently the training director for Massachusetts Canine Response Team. Her past competitive experience includes titling dogs under the International Search and Rescue Organization (IRO) standards as well as in competitive tracking. She currently works 3 certified human remains detection dogs and 1 live find dog and has 2 additional dogs in training.
