Having accidentally fallen into dog training as a career while volunteering as a dog walker at a shelter, I spent over a decade in the positive-only side of training, believing everything was fixable with treats. Eventually I realized there had to be more to dog training, and that search is what led me to TWC.TWC opened my eyes to a whole new world of training, and it's been a game changer in how I work with dogs.My absolute favorite thing to work with is reactivity. Having had several reactive dogs myself (the latest of which pushed me toward TWC), I know how hard it can be to struggle with a dog who explodes at other dogs in public. I also know how rewarding it is to finally get that resolved and see your once-crazy dog behaving normally, off leash and making friends with new dogs. My philosophy with training is: If it doesn't give your dog a bigger and better life, what's the point? I want you to have awesome adventures with your dog and enjoy life with them.
