About
My name is Alison, owner of Zen K9 Malta; my dog training journey started with Azi, my Amstaff who was “way too much dog” for me and wanted to take on every cat and dog he saw, including my own. That challenge pushed me to understand behaviour on a deeper level, and eventually led me to volunteer in shelters, where I cut my teeth on the big, strong, “difficult” dogs, especially bull breeds.Along the way, Training Without Conflict showed me a better, clearer, and fairer way to help dogs and their owners. It completely changed how I communicate, how I teach, and how I repair relationships between people and their dogs.Today, I offer board & train programs and private sessions, focusing on general training, behaviour modification, and helping owners and dogs minimise conflict and build real understanding. My goal is simple: give both ends of the leash the tools to succeed together.
